This 2010 GMC Sierra has been a great truck for me. I've had it for longer than I've had almost any other vehicle I've owned. I think I bought it when it had around 115k miles and I had to have the transmission replaced not long after that. Since then it's been super reliable and a great pickup. Last year I was in an accident due to black ice on the freeway. I ended up bouncing off guardrails on both sides, doing mostly cosmetic damage. No airbags deployed but my insurance declared it as totaled. I took it to the mechanic to have a couple of the mechanical problems fixed and we took out a lot of the dents and replaced the front and rear bumpers. a couple years ago I noticed my battery was draining if the truck sat for a few days and it sounded like the CD player was trying to eject a CD over and over even if there wasn't one in there. so I took out the fuse to the radio /cd player and it's been fine since. It's definitely not perfect cosmetically, but I think it will be a very solid, reliable truck for someone for a long time to come. Power windows and locks. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in this truck and drive several hours. It has a little over 200k miles, but many of those are highway miles as the truck has been to Montana, North Idaho, Southern Utah, Nevada, and most places in between.
I drive fairly conservatively, but this 4.8 liter V8 truck has very consistently gotten 15-16 miles per gallon for me. if you're looking for a cosmetically perfect truck, don't bother. if you're looking for a truck that has been reliable and taken care of, reach out and we'll set up a time for you to to check it out. Not interested in trades, except for maybe gold and silver....
