Early 1999, 7.3L, F250 Powerstroke up for sale. In very good condition for being close to 27 years old. This is an XLT not a Lariat. Many extras on this one. Was manufactured in Oct of 1998, so it is truly one of the first Super Duty trucks. No DEF or emissions bull crap!
The Good:
It has the markings as an F350 (not by me), but it is a F250 with working airbags.
It is the 7.3 Powerstroke. I changed out the header and front end with a 2005.
It has seats from 2005, no rips, but a little wear. They are power seats, but it is not hooked up. We use a Milwaukee 12v battery to move the seat if needed, which isn't often.
Has new Gillette diesel injectors and glowplugs installed at 150,000 miles.
New radiator
New powersteering pump
New flywheel
New rear brakes and rotors
New rear main seal
Edge Insight Monitor (not a tuner)
Tires have good tread
Gooseneck turnover ball in bed
Sliding rear window
Mirrors from a 2008 (manual)
Leveled with an added helper spring in the front by Best Deal Springs in Payson
Power windows and door locks
Touch-screen radio
Wired for subs
Trailer wiring in bed and on bumper (both work)
Block heater plug integrated into the front bumper
Newer batteries from 2023
AFE air intake
LED lights all around
Manual locking hubs
Front bearings were replaced when I bought the truck
And more
Now the bad:
The windshield is broken
The turn signal/wiper switch should probably be replaced. Wipers work on low and high, but not so well on intermittent. The left turn signal works if you hold it just right. The right turn signal works perfectly, as do the hazard lights.
I am leaving the Edge Insight monitor in the truck to offset the cost of fixing these two issues.
It is old, and I have kids, so if you are expecting a mint condition truck, well, sorry, it has some scratches and dings. The bed is well used on the inside, and it has a little surface rust, nothing major. Always had regular oil changes and has a small oil leak (not bad enough to warrant adding oil in between changes), but again, she is old.
I rear-ended a Hyundai Tucson a couple of years ago. Just bent the front bumper, hence the 2005 front end.
We used it mostly to pull our camp trailers, SXS, and then, recently, a truck bed camper. But mainly sits.
Text or call with any questions. Come take it for a drive.
Please don't send your brother to pick it up; scammers will be taunted and mocked openly. If you want a VIN report, the VIN is listed; get it yourself, and if you buy the truck, and show proof of said report, I will reimburse you up to $50. Do not ask me how low I will go, come drive it and give me an offer.
Interior pictures to come later this evening.
