2002 Toyota Solara SLE. Has been my daily driver for commuting and is a very reliable runner, however, it shows its age cosmetically. The engine and transmission are solid and it drives very well.

The exterior is in rough shape with significant paint chipping. Mechanically, there is a small oil leak. It isn't a massive leak, it doesn't require adding oil between regular changes but it does drip onto a hot part of the engine. Because of this, you will notice a burning oil smell once the car warms up.

The parking brake light recently turned on, it is not currently on but will turn on and off randomly. I took it to auto zone and it wasn’t throwing any codes, so it is likely a sensor issue.

New timing belt installed in 2024.

It’s been a great car for me that is perfect for someone who needs a dependable commuter and doesn't care about cosmetics. Just put in a brand new battery and it has had regular oil changes.
