Clean 1980 Dodge B100 – Rare 4-Speed Manual – Solid Body – Perfect Project Van
If you’ve been looking for a solid classic van to build, restore, or convert into a camper, this 1980 Dodge B100 is a great candidate.
Up for sale is my 1980 Dodge B100, and it’s honestly one of the cleanest bodies I’ve personally come across on one of these vans.
It’s powered by the smaller V6 paired with a 4-speed manual (4 on the floor) — a simple, classic setup that’s getting harder to find.
I bought her last summer from a painter who unfortunately burnt out the clutch after overloading it. After purchasing the van, I installed a brand new clutch and used it as my daily driver, putting over 5,000 miles on it.
Recent work and upgrades include:
Brand new clutch
Brand new battery
Brand new tires
Professionally installed alternator
New belts
New wipers, bushings, and blades
Brand new windshield (installed about 3 weeks ago)
Inside, I’ve already started building it out for a future camper or adventure van:
Installed a solid insulated subfloor with carpeting
Entire interior spray insulated
The engine is blown as of two weeks ago, and that’s the only reason I’m letting it go. I simply don’t have the know-how to install a new or remanufactured engine. For someone with the mechanical skills, this would be an excellent candidate for a straightforward engine replacement or swap, especially considering how solid the body and foundation are.
The hard work is already started, and it’s well on its way to becoming someone’s next pride and joy or dream van build.
Message me if you’re interested or want to come take a look.
$3,000 or best offer. I just want to make sure sure she stays on the road and doesnt end up at a pull a part or crushed.
