Mechanics special: I have owned this truck for 20 years, oil changes every 3k miles, bought it with 40k miles on it.

I recently drove this truck down to St. George and back for work and it ran flawlessly, changed the oil when I returned and unfortunately I double gaskets the oil filter unknowingly “ old oil filter gasket did not come off with the old filter” and proceeded to drive it, lost all the oil within 5 miles and ruined the motor…. 😢

This has been a great truck ever since I owned it. The tires as you can see are only 3-4 years old with about 20k miles on them.

There is a truck up in Idaho around the same year and same motor, has 77,000 original miles on it but somebody broadsided him and he’s selling the motor for $2500. I don’t have the time or place to make that an option for me, but it is one to consider if you are mechanically inclined.
