So this car has a strange story. I inherited it from a friend in California who passed away before I could give it back to him. Now I am saddled with a total of 4 cars in my driveway, which I barely drive and I already have a weekend warrior. I really don't need two.

The prize: A very fast, new, low mileage, performance-modified, $17K car that is an absolute treat to drive for a steal of a price.

The catch: I've recently discovered this vehicle is straight-piped with no catalytic converter. You can get away with that some places, but not in SL County in 2026 after new laws. You will need to be able to register this car out-of-county or have other connections to make that happen in say Tooele.

From what I can see, I see a stage 2 PRL turbo kit, new intercooler and piping, and I'd assume at least some tuning on the ECU for the extra boost.

She's quite a vehicle. But it belongs to someone who can give her the love and drive time it deserves.
