Finished in Medium Cabernet Metallic over White articulated sport seating with Scarlet interior accents and a White convertible top, this is one of the most striking and period-correct color combinations offered in the late Fox Body era. This Mustang was purchased new and has remained with the same owner for the past 38 years. It has been carefully preserved and stored in a climate-controlled garage its entire life until very recently, when it was traded in on a new Ferrari prior to our acquisition. Condition This car is a true, untouched survivor. The paint is completely original on every panel and presents beautifully with outstanding gloss and depth. All body panels remain original and still retain their factory VIN stickers. There is not a single ding, dent, scratch, or imperfection anywhere on the exterior. The car still wears its original factory turbine wheels and even retains the period-correct trunk-mounted luggage rack. The interior is equally extraordinary. The white articulated sport seats look virtually unused and still show tight leather with no creasing or wear. The carpets remain vibrant and clean, and the interior plastics, trim, and dash appear exactly as they would have when new. The car still retains its original factory radio, factory shifter and knob, and even the original red seatbelts. Every detail inside the car reflects an untouched, carefully preserved interior.
