Legendary reliability of a Toyota! It’s got low miles, especially for its age, 147,400, that’s about 10,500 miles per year. It’s not even halfway through its life.
Plenty of upkeep done as needed, regular oil changes, it always passes emissions; there’s no warning lights, etc. I’ve replaced the TPMS sensors, sway bar links, rear brake pads, radiator, alternator, LED headlights, and air conditioner compressor (the A/C is ice cold). It does need the CV axel leak fixed, which will be a few hundred dollars. And it could probably use two new tires by next winter (it’s FWD).
This van is the road trip QUEEN. I’ve taken it to L.A., Seattle, Eastern Washington, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, sometimes with all eight passengers, but everyone’s comfy because of that amazing trunk space storing all the luggage and the roof racks. It drives so smoothly; the seats all recline so the passengers can rest, and it gets around 25 mpg on the freeway. And! 14 cupholders!
Space: loads of space. I’ve removed the seats several times to fit stuff in, help someone move, etc., and it has ~cavernous~ trunk storage. There’s so much space inside. Double jockey boxes, an enormous console storage space, huge windows, up to 8 passengers.
Clean, so, so clean: far cleaner than any “detailing” you’d get when buying a car at a dealership, clean.
Pretty: k, so not the most important thing ever, but it is a super pretty sage green.
The van is in great shape, I’m just downsizing as my littles grow up and move out and stuff. If you’re looking for a reliable, easy to handle, family car that will comfortably get you where you need to be, you’ve found it.
