** ENGINE HAS ROD KNOCK** This is my 2010 STI hatchback up for sale. I bought the car with 50k and drove it up to 130k. In 2022 the oil pump bolts came loose and lost oil pressure causing a spun bearing. I had hopes to rebuild the engine but life has not given me the opportunity to do so. The car has been parked in a garage since the failure and still starts and runs, you can only hear the knock once it’s warm. I did fix the oil pump and car has good oil pressure now but was too late to save it. I did build the car to run in the STU spec class in autocross so it has all polyurethane bushings and some whiteline suspension components along with BC coilovers. Car comes with an accessport also. You will need a trailer to take it away. Price is OBO and I know the value is hard to assess in these situations but come check it and shoot me an offer. The way I see it, it’s worth 15-16 running and I’ve been quoted 7k to put a new engine in it.
