2001 LeSabre w/just under 143k miles. Has been my daily driver for 8 years until I bought a new car last month. Clean Title, NO check engine light/codes. Passed emissions no problem in Oct 2026.
$2500 OBO or trade for a high end guitar or amp. I like vintage Fenders, but open to offers.
Super solid 3800 series II engine. Engine/trans have never given me and problems. I've used full synthetic the last 8 years. I fully rebuilt front end suspension 5 years ago (inner/outer tie rods, control arms/lower ball joints, wheel bearing, etc) struts are even newer. Also replaced the air suspension with coil over rear shocks a few years ago and disabled the air pump with wasn't working. Car steers, handles and rides awesome.
Very clean interior for the age. No rips or tears in seats/headliner.
Here's all the issues I never got around to fixing:
Fuel pump is tired. Sometimes I have to cycle the fuel pump if car has Sat for awhile. Fuel gauge is also wonky, I believe it's the float. I have a new-in-box Carter pump (entire assembly, pictured) that will come with the car. It can be replaced easily through the trunk access panel.
Leaks oil from value cover gaskets. Leaks onto exhaust manifolds and smokes/burns. This needs to be fixed, I have the new gaskets (pictured).
Odometer gauge has a cold soldier joint and goes dark. Still tracks milage probably. I tap it occasionally to get it to light back up to check my trip odo. Always intended to resolder, never got around to it.
Driver's door panel pops off at top when closing door. I elbow it back into place. Replacement fasteners are a few bucks on Amazon.
Cracked windshield, but it's all very low and doesn't obstruct view.
Parking brake mechanism needs attention. Doesn't fully reset when being released. I stopped using it. my guess is the release mechanism itself, but I'm not sure.
