So, long story short first.. Then history.
Engine is toast. Plain and simple. Head gaskets went bad a few years back and I suspect the motor likely won't spin free. This is the obvious Con of the vehicle, but that's not what I'm selling really.
Now the pros.
A barely used Monster Transmissions 4L60E with their Stage 2 shift kit, 3900 converter and a polyurethane transmission mount. Only 8k miles on it.
C5 Vette wheels, 295 rear/275 front. (Will need tires when running, little curb rash got them cheap)
Paint is in pretty good shape, could be detailed up real nice. No flakes of clear coat or anything, coupl3 light scratches and I assume swirls all able to be polished. The clay on the rear bumper seems to have come back but I got it to go away with a detail a long time ago.
Interior is in fantastic shape comparatively to other interiors I see at this price point. Couple odds and ends needed. Visors need rebuilt/wrapped they are removed currently and I have 3 total frames to use with brackets. Center console hinge is broken but sits in place fine when closed.
driver seat power control trim piece doesn't sit proper as is pretty normal with these.
The rear deck speakers were butchered by the previous owner and I'm in the process of designing some plates to stylishly cover the original holes and have better quality speakers with the limited space on the driver side. I am putting in a 3 way setup using the middle 6.5" as Infinity Kappa woofers, an Infinity 5.25" mid as pictured and a matching Infinity (Period correct) Polycell Tweeter on each side. The fronts would then be Infinity Components when I buy some. 4 channel powering them and a mono powering a stealth sub in the cavity next to the T-Top holder was the plan.
Anyways, I will consider trades or the listing price due to all the usable parts. The only thing with real damage is the engine. Replace that and you've got a ripper. Transmission was a BIG upgrade. It will surprise you surely.
Thanks for looking and the read, Had the car 10 years there's a lot more to cover.
