The Build & Upgrades

The main concern with these trucks is the factory "head bolt" issue—consider that solved. This engine has beenhead studded(bulletproofed), ensuring the long-term reliability this platform is known for when built right.

• Engine: Kill Devil Diesel O-ringed heads, Xotic Performance Head Studs, updated gaskets, EGR delete, blue spring kit, coolant filter, new Ford oil Cooler, reman HPOP, 8 new injectors, dummy plugs, coolant filter, new Mishimoto radiator, new water pump, oil pump. All work done at ~144,000 miles

• Suspension: Donahoe Racing 4-inch suspension lift with Bilstein shocks

• Stance: Ultra Racing 18” wheels wrapped in 35" Patagonia AT with plenty of tread left.

• Exhaust: 3.5” straight pipe, with OG Cat if you want. It has that iconic 6.0 whistle.

• Tuner: Has SCT tuner with 3 custom tow tunes. Truck was not abused, but used for towing a 7k camp trailer.

• Drivetrain: New u-joints on ear driveline, new carrier bearing. Vented rear diff cover, urethane bushings up front (and sway bar bushings), new track bar bushings. Steering and suspension are tight and truck drives straight as an arrow. No weird tire wear.

• Fuel System: Stock fuel system (very reliable). I reconditioned the stock fuel module and replaced pump with lifetime warranty pump. Spare fuel pump comes with truck. Fuel pickup foot was replaced very recently and fuel tank was cleaned and serviced then.

Condition

• Interior: Like new leather, no rips or tears. A/C blows ice cold. Touch screen head unit with upgraded speakers. No surprises, other than the interior is very clean for an old truck. Glass is good.

• Exterior: Red paint in great shape. Minimal dings for the year. Dent in the tailgate came with the truck, as did the dings around the tail lights.

• Performance: Starts right up (even on cold mornings), shifts smooth, and pulls like a freight train. New AGM batteries in January of ‘26. Newer alternator, newer serpentine belt and tensioner.

• Extras: Camper Shell, Decked roller box in bed, bed lights, spare new fuel pump (with filters and tools with bag). Full sized spare with old school ford super duty rim, and another in the bed. EGT guage, Scan Guage set up for all appropriate readings (Trans temp, oil temp, coolant temp, FICM voltage, etc). WInch bumper (no winch) with LED light bars that dim with column dimmer switch. Truck is wired with ECCO emergency lighting system.
