2005 Pontiac Grand Am – $1,500

Selling our 2005 Pontiac Grand Am with 226,364 miles.

The car still runs and drives well overall, but it has a few small issues we haven’t bothered fixing since we recently purchased a new vehicle.

Known Issues:

• Idle can occasionally wander at stops and on the rare occasion stall. Could be a vacuum leak or an IACV. Causing a P0300 random misfire code. Runs great once you are moving.
• Check engine light on for a small EVAP leak. Code is P0442.
• Power button is broken on the radio.
• Windshield is cracked.
• Small slow engine oil leak.

Despite that, the car runs great when driving and could make for a good cheap commuter, backup vehicle, or project for someone handy with cars. The front wheel bearings, front control arms, window power motors, and starter were all recently replaced. Heater and AC work fine. The tires have plenty of life left in them too.

Condition:

• Interior is in good shape.
• Some minor cosmetic issues on the exterior consistent with age and mileage (see pictures).
