1997 Toyota 4Runner with 221K miles. The engine runs strong, the transmission is in excellent condition. New tires 5K miles ago. The body is in good condition as seen in the pictures. The underside is rusty but solid. The four wheel drive works flawlessly. The moon roof and rear window are fully functional. The AC is as cold as you get on these models, the heater blows hot air. The blue tooth radio/CD player work well. The wheel alignment is good. All door locks are functional. The windshield is in great condition. The power mirrors all work well.

Now the not so good, when parked you will see an oil drip or three. The brakes work great but will squeak a little. The shocks are old.

The gear shift light bulb is burned out. The headlights are not perfectly aligned. The driver seat has a tear. The E-Brake doesn't engage.

I have owned this 4Runner for almost 7 years, this happens to be the 3rd '97 I've owned. I will only buy Toyota, I believe the 90's models are especially reliable and well built, that said I just bought an '07. But the difference in build quality is noticeable. My newer '07 has more rattle than my '97.

I hope this truck will provide reliability for years to come for the right owner.
