For sale is my 1998 4Runner limited in evergreen. It’s a solid rig that would be great for a weekend warrior hunting vehicle or off roading vehicle. I bought it with the intention to keep it but another opportunity popped up for a car I always wanted and this needs to go. It has 330k miles on the chassis and about 140k miles on the motor swap. I don’t have paperwork for the new motor but I did hunt down the original owner and he told me a lot of info. It passed emissions in January so it’s good to go with that and you won’t have to do it again. 4wd works and the sunroof and rear window work as well. Here’s what’s been done to it since January:

• [ ] New spark plugs
• [ ] Checked engine compression everything looks great
• [ ] New brakes and brake lines
• [ ] New starter
• [ ] New muffler
• [ ] New front bumper and grille
• [ ] New rear hatch (the old one was rusted)
• [ ] Seat covers for the front
• [ ] New lower ball joints
• [ ] New lift kit

Here’s the know problems:

• [ ] Needs new cv axles
• [ ] Needs an alignment (haven’t done it yet because I just did the ball joints and figured I’d wait till the cv axles were put in).
• [ ] Does have an intermittent check engine light that comes on every once in a while for an evap code. When I pulled the code it’s nothing serious so I haven’t worried about it. Like I said it passed emissions just fine
• [ ] Needs new blower motor
• [ ] Needs tires balanced
• [ ] Clear coat is peeling in places

That’s all I can think of for now I’m sure I’m missing something but it’s a tank. Engine runs strong and I’ve cleaned it up pretty nice. She’s not a looker but she’ll still got tons of life left in her. Standard surface rust for a 30 year old vehicle. Had the frame checked by the shop I bought it from and it was fine.
