2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
6.6L Duramax Diesel Engine (LLY)
5 Speed Allison Transmission
220k - miles
New Tires - Sailun All Terrain
Edge Tuner (installed 3-4 years ago)
Blue Top Steering Gear box (installed less than a year ago)
New (and new-ish) Front end, tie rod ends less than a year old. Control arms and ball joints are 5-6 years old. Steering damper a 5-6 years old - all parts were good quality (moog or equivalent) parts when changed
6/8 Glow plugs have been changed since I’ve owned the truck
Billstein Shocks - 7-8 years old still good, I don’t do a lot of offroading
Front hub gasket changed about 1 year ago
New shifter lever installed a few years ago
Always had maintenance done by Moonlight Diesel in Hyde Park
Drivers seat cover (bottom) changed 10 years ago, starting to show some wear
The driver's seat heater element changed at the same time as the seat cover - hot as hell unless you’re a woman with a cold butt, then it’s just right according to my wife.
LED headlights changed a few years ago
Front and rear brakes changed maybe 2 years ago
Starts, Runs, shifts and drives very well
4WD works like it should
Not the newest or prettiest but it's a very solid truck. I recently loaned it to a friend and he drove it from cache valley to Bend Oregon and back and couldn’t say enough good things about how it drove and handled.
If interested message or text me.
I'm not interested in trades. I don't need help selling and I won't provide a VIN report but you're welcome to get one on your own.
