2016 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 – 3.5L EcoBoost – Fully Sorted & Loaded
Price: $20,500
Mileage: 143,000
VIN: 1FTEW1EG7GFB99216
Title: Clean title in hand for a smooth sale.
Selling my F-150. I’ve owned this truck since 2019, when I bought it with 85,000 miles. It’s been an awesome truck for the last 60k miles, and I’ve put the money in where it counts. I’m only selling because I’m looking to move into a bigger truck for heavier towing.
I’ve already addressed the common 3.5L EcoBoost weak points and added several upgrades that make it much more capable than a stock pickup. Everything else on the truck is solid.
The Mechanical Upgrades (The Big Wins):
36-Gallon Extended Range Fuel Tank: The factory upgrade everyone wants. Easily go 500 miles on a tank.
BD Diesel Exhaust Headers: These engines are known for warping factory manifolds. I’ve upgraded to BD headers to fix that permanently—no manifold leaks or ticking.
New Throttle Body: Recently replaced to prevent the common "limp mode" issues.
Firestone Air Bags: Rear bags installed to help with towing; keeps the truck level and stable under load.
33" Falken Wildpeak R/T Tires: Premium hybrid tires with 80% tread remaining.
Performance Extras: Equipped with a K&N air filter and the factory Tow Package.
Interior & Bed Add-ons:
Apple CarPlay / Android Auto: Fully installed—makes the truck feel much more modern.
Husky Floor Mats: Included throughout; carpets underneath are in great shape.
12V Bed Outlet: Custom installed in the bed—perfect for camping gear or charging tools.
The Real Talk (Full Disclosure):
I’m a firm believer in no surprises, so here is the "to-do" list for the truck:
Sunroof: The rails and cables need to be replaced (common Ford issue). I already have the new rails—they will come with the truck. You just need the cables and a couple of hours to swap them out.
TPMS Sensors: The Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors need to be replaced. Naturally, the batteries in them died right after I had the new tires mounted, and I didn't want to pay to have them broken down again just for that.
Cosmetics: Typical rock chips on the hood, a scratch on the passenger seat, and one scratched wheel.
Tonneau Cover: It’s an older cover; still functions and keeps the bed dry, but it's showing its age.
The Details:
Long-Term Owner: Owned since 2019 / 72k miles.
Serious inquiries only. I am not in a hurry to sell and am currently looking at trading it in for a new truck if it doesn't sell here.
