We're selling our beloved Lexus GS 350 F Sport. The F Sport is getting quite rare to find anymore. This has been the best car I have ever owned, and the best car I've ever driven. We inherited an old truck so we're selling the Lexus and saving for an LC500. It has had zero problems from day one. This car was previously a politician's who commuted from St. George to SLC, so most of the miles are highway miles. New tires within the last 200 miles. Oil change within the last 200 miles. We had it inspected by Zion Motors and it's in fantastic mechanical condition.
It has a few door dings and looks just like a 13 year old car with 140,000 miles should. Not perfect, but still really nice looking. The 2013 model was the last of the quad light GS models (ugly), but came before the full spindle grill models (also ugly and expensive in a bump). The GS is larger, more comfortable, and comes with a better features/ sound/system and sound damping than the Lexus IS, but you lose .1 seconds to 60 mph. The V6 in this car is one of the most reliable engines ever made. Check out what Scotty Kilmer has to say about the Lexus GS (and its motor) on YouTube. The brakes are responsive, the suspension is fantastic. This car grips the road so nicely while still delivering a supple ride.
The sound system is the best I've ever heard in any car. I will definitely miss it. Some of the features I love are the park assist, the heated/vented seats, and the automatic sun shade in the rear window. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and massively customizable.
This GS is the F sport model so it has the upgraded body and the amazing Sport mode. It's like a mullet. Business (Lexus) in the front but party (F Sport) in the back. F stands for the Fuji Raceway in Japan. The car is comfortable and predictable as any Lexus in its regular or eco driving modes. Click it into F-sport mode and it's like a whole other car. The suspension tightens, the transmission lets the revs go a lot higher before shifting, and the throttle response is amazing.
As I've written this description, I realize that I absolutely love this car and really don't want to sell it. However, it has opened my eyes to how enjoyable driving can be, so the money from this will eventually go to our next Lexus, my dream car, the LC500. Thanks for checking it out.
