Hard choice, but I’m selling my 1976 CJ7 to fund equipment for my local small business. The 1976 is historic as it was the very first year of the CJ7 production. This is a massive "builder's package" for someone who wants a solid project with rare, hard-to-find original parts and high-end custom upgrades already included.
The Build:
• Engine: 258 Inline 6 with Motorcraft 2150 Carb and HEI Distributor upgrades.
• Safety: Custom full roll cage (as seen in photos).
• Tires/Wheels: Newer 32" BFG All-Terrains (1 year old) extra set of 5 Chrome Wheels.
• Body/Doors: Includes BOTH full hard doors and half doors.
• Seating: Currently has upgraded seats installed. Includes original low-back front seats and rear bench seat (need restoration).
Storage & Recovery:
• Functional Warn Winch mounted and ready.
• Custom spare tire gate with dual Jerry can holders.
• Custom over-the-tire rack/basket setup.
The Bonus:
• Brand new Painless Wiring Harness ($900 value) still in the box. I bought it to refresh the electrical but haven’t had the time to install.
The Honest Condition:
Selling as-is. It has an acceleration bog (needs intake manifold gasket and accelerator pump) and the lights/blinkers are currently out. It is a runner, but it will need a trailer to get home safely. Clean Utah title in hand.
Price: $8,500 for everything. The doors, winch, roll cage, and harness alone are worth thousands. Open to reasonable offers from local buyers.
Some of my pictures and the video are a few years old. I’ve owned this Jeep for 10 years.
