Selling Dad's 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. Finished 12 years ago and has fewer than 300 miles. The body is painted original Garnet (maroon) and has all original Ford sheet metal except the tail pan, a Bob Drake Part. The stanless trim and hardware are Drake as well. The bumpers are original Ford and were rechromed in the 60's. The flathead is from a 1950 Ford car and was rebuilt with a 4" Merc crank. Has original Fenton aluminum heads, an original Fenton two carb intake with 2 new Stromberg 97's, and Fenton cast iron headers. It has an MSD distributor and coil and a new Offenhauser fuel pump and rod. It has been converted to a 12 volt system with PowerGen alternator and starter. The ransmission is a column shift 3 speed with overdrive (not hooked up). It has an open driveline conversion, front disc brakes, and Lincoln rear drums. It has new 16" radial whitewall tires on original rims with Drake hubcaps and trim rings. The interior is all new and also Bob Drake.

The paint is showing some age due to careless storage but is great for a driver. Also the driver's side head has started to weep. Asking 25,500 or best offer.
