The vehicle was purchased at Montana highway state motor pool auction. This van was usedas an automated road and pavement surveyvehicleusing lasers and electronic recording devices. It had routine maintenanceby the motor pool mechanics. Mileage isalmost exclusively due tohighway driving in Montana(no salt on roads so no rust). All internal equipment other than the inverter for shore power has been removed during the rebuild into a camper.The two vehicle batteries were also replaced.In March 2026 after complete camper van conversionthe vehicle was evaluated by a professional mechanic to check forany maintenance needs and had oil, oil filter, bothfuelfilters and air filter changed (245,196 miles). New tires were then installed. We also had new Freon installed for the air conditioner. It will pass emissions in Utah. There is a 2 inch receiver hitch on the back for attaching a bike rack or a towing ball.Average MPG on latest mountain bike trip (500 miles) was 18.1 mpg.

Interior:Walls aresoundproofed and insulated then covered with Cedar and black walnut trim. Kitchen cabinet is black walnut, maple and birch exterior with plywood framing. The sink istopquality (Kraus) with Whale brand footpump and faucet pumping out ofa6gallon fresh water into 6 gallon grey water containers. The stove isaRamblewoodpropane 2 burnerwhile the fridge isanAlpicoolC50 50 liter 12 volt car refrigerator/freezer. There is ample storage with a large area under the bed, two storage boxes above the wheel wells, front and rear large shelves for clothes and bags, and small shelves running along both sides for food, dishes and other smaller items. The cabinet also had four pull out drawers for storing utensils and other kitchen items. The bed is 68 inches by 52 inched with a diagonal length of 82 inches. It sleeps oneperson diagonally comfortably. It fits two short people fine, but if you are over 5”8” it is a little shortfor 2 people unless they sleep on their side (when we have 2, one of us tends to sleep on a pad on the floor for more space).Four 12 volts fans surround the bed. The bed folds up to expose a seat and two storage units. The passenger seat is reversible providing comfortable seating for two. There are black out curtains between the living space and the cab, and magnetic attached blackout curtains for the side and rear doors.
