LIST OF SUGGESTIONS FROM MECHANIC:
THE SERPENTINE BELT needs to be replaced.
*RECOMEND FLUSHING THE POWER STEERING FLUID REPLACING THE PUMP, CLEANING THE RESIVIOR AND REPLACING THE HOSE CLAMPS ON THE RESIVIOR LINES.
-Oil leak likely from head gasket.
*RECOMMEND PREFORMING AN OIL SERVICE AND PRESSURE WASHING THE UNDERSIDE THEN ADD DYE INTO THE OIL AND CHECK FOR OTHER LEAKS.
-THE COOLANT IS LOW IN THE RADIATOR, WE CHECKED FOR LEAKS AND ARE NOT FINDING ANY OBVIOUS LEAK. A VERY COMMON LEAK ON THESE VEHICLES IS THE WATER PUMP LEAKING THE WATER PUMP IS TIMING BELT DRIVEN AND IS LOCATED BEHIND THE TIMING COVER. WE CHECKED FOR A TIMING BELT STICKER AND ARE NOT FINDING ONE. IF THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT KNOW WHEN THE TIMING BELT WAS DONE LAST IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE TIMING BELT.
*RECOMMEND REPLACING THE TIMING BELT
-THE LOWER REAR MOTOR MOUNT IS BLOWN CAUSING THE ENGINE TO CLUNK VERY HARD IN REVERSE THE UPPER RIGHT AND LOWER FRONT MOUNT ARE VERY WEAK AND PRETTY MUCH RIPPED ALL THE WAY THROUGH. THE LOWER TRANSMISSION MOUNTS ARE RIPPED
*RECOMMEND REPLACING ALL OF THE MOUNTS.
-THE LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS ARE OUT
*RECOMMEND REPLACING THE BULBS AND ADVISE IF ELECTRICAL DIAG IS NEEDED
-THE AIR FILTER IS DIRTY, AND BASED ON MILEAGE THE CABIN FILTER SHOULD BE REPLACED
*RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH OF THESE FILTERS.
-BOTH CV AXLES ARE STARTING TO LEAK GREASE FROM THE OUTER BOOTS.
*RECOMMEND A BATTERY CLEANING SERVICE
-THE BATTERY TERMINALS HAVE SOME CORROSION ON THEM.
