VW jetta TDI DIESEL. We bought this car for a commuter with a check engine light and other lights on knowing it was a fixer upper. Check engine light happened to be the battery, so we changed that out and resolved one of the lights. After digging in and trying to locate the source of the other lights, some of which we were able to fix, we came to the conclusion (whether it be right or wrong) that the BCM is bad and will need to be replaced. The cons - both the AC and heater work, but do not put out the right temperatures, the windshield wiper fluid will not spray even after changing the pump, it won't lock/unlock with the fob and the sunroof will not open. Everything else seems to work as it should and it is great on fuel getting 500 miles per tank but It's more than we want to deal with right now so we're selling AS IS for 4000 OBO
