I have owned this 1986 Toyota MR2 since 2002, at 130000 miles blew a head gasket and had a complete rebuild done on the engine, clutch replaced, half shafts rebuilt and the transmission was gone through at the same time, about 7 years ago. Also at this time the brakes were rebuilt with new rotors and calipers and EBC brake pads. The shocks have been replaced with KYBs, the springs were replaced with Eibach replacements and the sway bars were upgraded and are adjustable. The wheels are Konig Flow formed (sort of a hybrid between cast and forged) and are super light, good tread (over 50%) on Toyo summer tires.

Has a sunroof and the interior is in great condition for this year car. Electric windows and locks.

Runs and drives well, just passed smog and is registered. I do drive often and is super fun. As you can see in the photos there is rust damage on drivers side rear 1/4 panel and the paint is not the best. other than that the body is pretty solid. I did remove the AC but have all the parts if you want to reinstall.
