1970 Chevelle LS5 454, This car is turn key for drag and drive events or just cruise and take to car shows. Body and paint is about 20 years old, but still looks great. There are are a couple defects in the paint (pictured). The engine is not numbers matching; however, it is a year correct LS5 454 for the Chevelle (see pictures). Engine has a fresh rebuild, still has original heads. Cam specs are in the pictures. Runs very strong and starts easy. Converted from carb to an Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 fuel injection and timing system that can be tuned by an app on your phone. New long tube ceramic coated headers and holley front accessory drive which is compact and works very well. New aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Has Hydroboost system for the brakes. Transmission is the original Turbo 400 and has been built for over 1000 hp. Torque converter is a 2400-2800 stall. Has gear vendors overdrive and is seamlessly controlled inside the cabin. Original 12-bolt rear end, posi, built for high horsepower. Rears suspension has QA1 control arms and adjustable coilovers. Front suspension is all new with QA1 coilovers. All new steering components including new Borgeson power steering box. Frame is powder coated and car is 99% rust free. Has roll cage installed including removable door bars and rear cross bar to allow folks in the back seat. Complete set of autometer gauges. Slotted and drilled disk brakes on all 4 corners. Has line-lock, activated by button on gear shifter. Interior is in good condition with with a little wear on the driver's seat.
