Red Farm truck for sale.
1979 Ford F350 Custom - Flat bed with manual trans
Truck has been sitting for several years runs strong, loud and hard. Currently has a dead battery. We used it for quite a few years to haul a BBQ smoker wagon to public events. This thing has low end power and a ton of torque. Bring a battery and get it running and drive it home or have it towed out of here.
6th Generation F350 Custom -This was the last year before the next body style.
It has a custom built flat bed with a swing arm cable winch mounted near the headache rack on the flat bed. Super heavy duty hitch with a nice adjustable draw hitch.
Manual (Non-Synchronized 1st Gear): The NP435 was commonly used in F-Series trucks for heavy-duty work. It is known for a very low 1st gear (6.68:1) and rugged construction.
It features a non-synchronized "granny" first gear, requiring double-clutching to downshift while moving.
Please check my stats and ask questions as I am not a pro on any of the details. Believe it or not we never had to do much work to the truck besides maintenance. We did have it really dressed up about 15 years ago.
Thanks!
The 1979 Ford F350 is the final model year of the "Dentside" (sixth generation) F-Series, highly regarded by collectors for its rugged "square-body" styling and heavy-duty performance.
Key Specifications Engine Option: Massive V8 engine 400 cubic-inch (6.5L) big-block.
Designed for serious work, the F350 was built on a reinforced heavy-duty chassis, making it a favorite for towing massive trailers and handling high payloads.
Custom F350 - Specialty Package: Includes the Camper Special (equipped for heavy slide-in campers) and the Trailer Special (optimized for towing over 10,000 lbs).
