2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD Duramax Diesel LLY - Clean title, no accidents.

Bought this truck in NC right before moving to UT, expecting to keep it for a long time. Then I found out that I couldn't register it because of emissions laws along the Wasatch front.

Mechanically, the main work has already been done on this truck in the last couple of years:

• new turbo

• new down pipe

• new fuel injectors (this costs roughly $6k for replacement)

• deleted emissions (hence check engine light)

• new water pump & thermostats

• new alternator

• Tires have roughly 5k on them

• Batteries are from 2025

Body is straight, everything works great mechanically. Starts right up with smooth idle. No engine blow-by.

Some things to know:

• Paint is not great; there is some cracking on the hood, plenty of light scratches, and a few spots that were painted over.
• There is some rust right above the running boards and on the bumper. The rest of the truck (underneath) is relatively free of rust.
• I don’t have the key to the tool box, but it does work
• The radio works but needs some sort of mount to secure it better
• There is a slow leak somewhere in a radiator hose or reservoir. After sitting for a few months, it was half a quart low and there was a tiny spot on the ground. Under full load (while crossing mountains pulling 10k lb trailer), it leaked more. I haven’t spent the time to figure out where it is coming from.
• I am not a mechanic, so there could be other small issues.

Overall, this is a great truck. Like any vehicle, there will need to be other things done as they come up, but the biggest ones have been taken care of already.
