2001 Prowler, Excellent Condition, One-of-a-Kind Show Car!

This is how Chrysler should have made the Prowler!

This beautiful Mulholland Blue Prowler has numerous appearance and performance modifications that make it fast and distinctive. It is so much fun to drive and is a real attention getter at car shows.

Everything is in excellent condition and needs absolutely nothing. It could be driven cross-country with confidence. The paint, interior, drivetrain and glass are all in excellent condition.

It has been garage-stored and pampered. All maintenance and upgrades are already done. Everything works exactly as it should, including cold AC.

Unlike stock Prowlers it is fast and it has a wonderful exhaust note that is just right. The modification list is extensive. This car is meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Performance

Performance upgrades were installed last summer that make this Prowler sound amazing and accelerate like a sports car should, including:

Gears! It has the very popular and expensive Tony Goertz G-Force differential gear set which really improves acceleration.

Cam: It has stage one camshafts from Crower cams which gives it a nice lope at idle and increased power.

Headers and Exhaust: It has beautiful blue powder-coated long-tube headers and a full aftermarket Borla exhaust, capped off by chrome “Prowler Logo” exhaust tips. (The powder coating was really important and keeps things cool under the hood.) It is really a perfect exhaust note, loud and aggressive under throttle, but it is not too loud and does not drone while cruising. It is easy to hold a conversation. (The stock exhaust can be included in the sale)

New cooling system: Brand new aluminum radiator, water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat and coolant. It will not run hot under any conditions!

New Timing belt and idler pulley.

New tires. Rear tires are larger than stock, size 325/35/20. They fit perfectly and do not rub, and they give it a great stance.

New Tom Mills lifetime window regulator.

Additionally, it has new serpentine belts, new rear brake pads, upgraded fuel pump, and a fresh oil change. A cold air intake kit is included but not installed.

Appearance

The Mulholland Blue Prowlers came from the factory with a hand-painted blue pinstripe. Custom ghost blue/purple flames and an awesome color-changing wrap were added to give this Prowler some real pop!

It also has:

Custom grill and chrome Nerf bars.

Custom side panels with scoops.

Front bumper delete including polished stainless steel bumper-removal fairings with lights. (The original bumpers are in perfect condition and are included in the sale)

Polished stainless steel trunk lid trim.

Polished stainless steel bullet-style wheel caps and chrome lug nuts.

Under the hood it has a custom painted intake manifold along with polished stainless nose caps and trim pieces.

The interior has chrome headrest caps, padded aftermarket headrests, and door spacers. Additionally, every single speaker has been replaced with quality upgraded speakers. Includes two keys and fobs.

It has is a color-changing wrap on the front fenders, hood, and trunk lid which looks factory and is really stunning.

The only real flaw on the entire car is on the convertible top, which has a couple of small wear holes in the outer layer but is otherwise excellent and seals properly.

Included in the sale is a laminated window sticker and a large car-show sign. I entered it in a show and it was a crowd favorite.

Asking only $23,750 which is a real bargain! It easily has more than $5,000 in upgrades. Clean title in hand. Mileage is under 63k.

If you want to own a beautiful classic that is all sorted out, upgraded, and will need nothing at all for many years, this is your car. Hagerty recently identified Prowlers as classics that are going to appreciate in value.

The Most Outrageous Production Car and a True American Classic!

ThePlymouth Prowler(later theChrysler Prowler**)**is a rare and highly desirable two-door, two-seat sports car manufactured 1997 through 2002. It is widely known for its hand-crafted aluminum bodywork and its retro hot-rod styling with open, Indy racer-style front wheels.

Based on the 1993 concept car, Chrysler offered the Prowler with a V6 engine and a rear-transaxle, rear-drive configuration. Total production was 11,702 Prowlers.

Super-lightweight aluminum components including the body, frame, and suspension, as well as magnesium and other high-strength, lightweight metal alloys, were created just for the Prowler.

Only 1281 Prowlers were created in the striking Muholland Blue color. Each one features a hand-painted pinstripe by the legendary artist Dr. Ru.
