1970 Chevrolet C20 Longhorn Camper Special – 3/4 Ton – Very Rare Truck
This is a truly hard‑to‑find 1970 Chevrolet C20 Longhorn Camper Special, a factory long‑wheelbase ¾‑ton that doesn’t come around often—especially with this kind of history.
I purchased this truck directly from the original family who bought it new from the dealership, and it has remained largely original over the years. It was repainted at some point and will still need body work, making it a perfect candidate for someone who wants an honest, solid classic with great bones rather than a slapped‑together restoration.
Under the hood is an older GM crate 350 paired with a new Edelbrock carburetor, along with a new fuel pump, distributor, and alternator. The truck runs absolutely perfect—turn‑key, dependable, and ready to cruise or build further.
I’ve owned this truck for a long time and am now ready to move on to something new, so I’m open to selling outright or trading.
Mileage at 76,103 - I was told it was accurate but not verified.
Trades considered:
Late 80s Chevy/GMC square body 4x4 (preferred ’87–’88, other years considered)
Short bed only
Also interested in 1967–1972 K‑series 4x4 short bed trucks
I’m not interested in projects—I would be trading this toward something clean, solid, and well sorted.
If you’re looking for a rare 1970 Truck, this Longhorn deserves a serious look. Let me know what you have.
