Looking to sell my Trailblazer. It is 4WD and the EXT version with the third row of seats. I have had it for almost 11 years. All the maintenance has always been kept up. Runs and drives well. It is not perfect as it is 20 years old, but it has always been reliable for our family. My older kids have their own cars now and it is just a spare that rarely gets used. I've done my best to describe the good and bad below. Text or KSL message preferred.
The good:
-160k miles. Very low for the year
-Spent most of it's life in CA, so no rust
-Runs and drives well
-4x4 works
-Tow hitch
-Heat and AC work well.
-New Tires, about a year old, with very little miles on them
-New front brakes, rotors, and wheel bearings about a year ago.
-New water pump about a year ago
-New wiper motor and assembly and new windshield about two years ago
The bad:
-Drivers seat is stuck in the farthest back position. The power up/down functions still work. The position is good for most drivers.
-It sits for weeks at times, so the transmission pan gasket has started weeping. It is about due for fluid change anyway, which would come with a new gasket. If I drive it at least once per week, it stays dry.
-The front differential also has a small weeping seal somewhere. I check it regularly and it never seems to get low. The 4wd works well, so I haven't taken the time to chase it down.
