This 1998 Alegro Bus has the cummins allison automatic transmission and a Freightliner Chassis.
With only 100,604 miles on the 8.3L diesel motor it should be allowed to keep on seeing the road for many more miles!
The 7500 Onboard Onan Generator runs everything inside even while popping popcorn and running the outdoor movie on the big screen. With 985 actual hours, this generator should keep humming along for many more. (The original was swapped out in 2019)
It is equipped with one large electric slide out and 2 fold-down couch beds in the living room. The dining table can also be converted to a bed and the master suite has a queen mattress that we had to fight the kids for as it is super comfortable. It also has a lockable sliding door!
This big mamma sleeps 5 adults comfortably but our family of 8 slumbered nicely. Even when we invited 2-3 cousins to stay as well.
the shower is large enough to spray off a few muddy explorers and tub is the perfect size for bathing the junior versions as well.
The air conditioners/heat pumps (in front and back) run well.
All tires have good tread and the awning gives great shade on a sunny day. The fridge & freezer keep things nice & cold but only runs on propane. We have gone camping for 2 weeks but never ran out of fuel, just treats.
We saved you the cost of purchasing new batteries, since we just replaced all of them this spring for one last trip to St. George, UT.
The rear camera can make you look like a pro when backing up to your trailer. We have hauled a trailer full of ATV's and other toys many miles! As you can see there was one incident when an amateur driver turned a bit sharply and left a mark. This was just so they could remember to take turns wider. (See the mark in photo of back side.) If you would like to learn fiberglass repair, you're in luck! We saved the pieces just in case. (Located in a side compartment.) But don't worry, you can always just leave it as is and blame the previous owners if anyone asks.
The cruise control works well and makes for easy driver swaps when a straightaway road and a full bladder meet.
The 2 flat screen tv's make long road trips bearable as does the blue-ray player in front. The water heater brings H2O to a high temp but must be lit from the outside. (We will show you this exciting feature when you come see it for yourself.)
The previous owner replaced the fresh water tank with this larger one to extend vacation time. Another great feature is the air-compressor attachment that makes filling inflatable toys and bike tires a breeze. There is a great little faucet in the sewer compartment for washing hands or rinsing freshly cleaned trout and pretty rocks.
This family rig has been a lifesaver for us! It made setting up camp super easy! We didn't have to deny any items the kids wanted to bring along as there is ample storage inside and out.
The outside storage compartments are very large and are great for teaching teamwork, as we have not replaced the spring-loaded arms that hold the doors open. If you don't have a teammate at the time, an adjustable curtain rod stick or even just your own head can fill that role.
We purchased this gem when we had little kids, but they are now leaving the nest. It tugs at our heartstrings to sell good ole' "Moto". But the idea of another family getting to make memories like ours is worth the sacrifice.
Come check it out and start your own memories before your own kids grow up and move out! Just think of the character you could instill while they are still young!
