2006 Honda Ridgeline AWD - 192k Miles - Reliable Workhorse
The Good:
This Ridgeline has been a dependable family vehicle for us. The engine and transmission are strong, the AC is cold, and it has the famous in-bed trunk and dual-action tailgate. It has 2 key fobs and a security system. It is ready for a new home.
The Honest Details:
I’m a firm believer in no surprises. This is a 20-year-old truck with 192,000 miles, so it has some 'old truck' quirks that I have factored into the low price:
• Brakes: Needs new rear brakes and rotors soon. I’ve already factored a $500 credit into the asking price so the new owner can have them replaced by their preferred shop.
• Maintenance: There is a slow power steering leak and a slow leak in one tire. Both are manageable but should be addressed for long-term daily driving.
• Electronics: Power locks on the passenger/rear doors are manual-only right now. The rear driver-side door is easiest to reach via the key-turn window roll-down feature (a cool Honda trick!). The Check Engine light occasionally pops on if left idling for too long.
• Cosmetics: Small crack in the rear light housing and some interior button lights are out. Scratches with some rust on both sides.
Summary: If you’re looking for a perfect showroom truck, this isn't it. If you’re looking for a solid, legendary Honda 4x4 that still has plenty of life left for a great price, this is a steal.
