Car runs & drives great, but i have it listed low due to an idling issue. Has code p0505, and while in park the car holds a high idle and surges due to the idle air control valve being stuck open. I have replaced the idle air control valve twice (both were oem Hitachi ABV0043), and checked that the harness is receiving power (which it is) but for some reason the ecu is not controlling the iacv. Car runs and drives great otherwise! If need be you can still absolutely drive the car, it just holds a high idle and surges while parked and idling. May be something ecu or wiring related, as the car will not accept the idle relearn procedure either. I’m calling it quits on trying to diagnose this. No other lights, codes, or issues with the car. Just the iacv issue that i’m done banging my head against a wall for haha.
