1975 Toyota Hilux Pickup

Classic little truck that still runs and drives great. Powered by the original Toyota 20R 2.2L carbureted inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Legendary Toyota reliability with a simple old-school setup that’s easy to work on and maintain. New battery and fresh oil change just completed.

This truck has had the same owner for the past 10 years and spent most of its life in California before coming to Southern Utah about 2 years ago.

The odometer currently reads 45k miles, but it is a 5-digit odometer, so actual mileage is unknown and has rolled over at least once.

Starts right up, idles smooth, shifts through all gears well, and drives straight down the road with no known mechanical issues. These early Hilux pickups are getting harder to find, especially mostly original, unmodified examples.

Being a California truck most of its life, it avoided the harsh winters and road salt that rusted out many of these trucks years ago. Lightweight, dependable, and a great platform for restoration, collecting, vintage cruising, or mini-truck builds.

No power steering or A/C — just a true analog driving experience the way these trucks were built in the ‘70s.
