2022 Ford Transit AWD High Roof Extended – Your Future Adventure Rig, Tiny Home, Business Van… You Name It

If you’ve spent any amount of time looking for a Transit like this, you already know… these specs are HARD to find. This is the longest, tallest AWD Transit configuration Ford makes, and honestly, it feels like a studio apartment on wheels (IN THE BEST WAY)

We originally hunted all over the western US for this exact van in 2023 and ended up buying it from a Ford dealership in Nevada because it checked every box we wanted:

We took this van all the way to Alaska and back, and it handled the trip like an absolute champ. Since then, we added a professionally installed and welded 2-passenger bench seat after having our baby so we could keep adventuring as a family.

Now life is shifting a bit, we’re building a home, and unfortunately the “responsible adult” thing to do is sell the van instead of keeping our giant road-trip spaceship.

We’ve put quite a bit into upgrades alone. The roof rack, ladder, and awning setup was around $5K installed, and if you know van life pricing… you know every little add-on somehow costs the same as a kidney.

The interior is partially done (but we didn't want to do a full build for exactly this reason). So what we've done can be easily removed, or added to. It’s functional and usable now, but still gives the next owner freedom to customize it exactly how they want.
