180,000 miles | Automatic | Clean Title

Selling our 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL because we are moving out of state and need it gone. We bought this car from my wife’s grandparents, who owned it since around 2008, so it has stayed in the family for a long time.

I originally purchased it as a school commuter car, and it served that purpose very well. The car runs and drives, has a comfortable interior, and recently had a new alternator installed. It also comes with two sets of keys and two key fobs.

The main issue is that it needs a new PCM (Powertrain Control Module). Because of this:

• The check engine light stays on
• The airbags currently do not function

A local dealership quoted approximately $1,300 to replace/program the PCM. They also stated there could potentially be additional issues or codes that are currently unknown until the PCM is functioning properly again.

Other known issues:

• Tires will need replacement soon
• Dent on the passenger rear door from years ago when the door was left open and the vehicle was backed out of the garage. The door still closes properly and seals from the elements without issue.

Overall, this would make a solid budget commuter, project, or backup vehicle for someone willing to address the PCM issue.
