1966 Jeep (Kaiser) Wagoneer
Original AMC 327 Vigilante V8
Runs/shifts/stops/steers very well
All lights work
Includes many original Kaiser parts
1966 Shasta Astroflyte
Original wings
New upholstery (period correct)
New wiring/plumbing
New catalytic heater
New tires
I call them the SHA66Y WA66Y
Both have clean titles in my name.
Here's a video of the Waggy running today... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnWaM752EQM
I have owned this pair for 14 years, and they have been on some wonderful adventures.
The Wagoneer runs beautifully, and is nearly rust-free. Only 104K original miles. All lights work. It does need some minor body work and new paint. The original interior is in excellent condition (for being 60 years old). I have been collecting original 1966 Kaiser parts for a full restoration (which are now nearly impossible to find) including: Original razor grill with Kaiser badge (paid $1400). Original Kaiser hubcaps (paid $800). Original 1966 luggage rack. Many other parts (not needed, but to have on hand for repairs).
The Shasta trailer pulls nice and straight and is so fun to camp in. It sleeps 6. I haven't tested the appliances lately, but they all worked the last time I took it out. I have updated the electrical system, plumbing, and installed a safe catalytic heater.
This is a wonderful base for a full restoration, and when fully restored the pair would be worth $70-80K.
I hate to see these go, but I have too many projects.
Asking $10K for the Wagoneer, and $8K for the Shasta... or $16K for the pair.
