After nearly ten years, I'm finally letting go of my baby. This was my first car when I turned 16, and it has faithfully taken me all over. Selling because my wife and I decided to get a high MPG car because she has a long commute, and we don't need another car.
This car has had a lot of repair work done recently (see below), and the way the engine purrs makes me think that this car has a few good years left. This car has NEVER broken down on me, and maintenance has rarely been needed. It continues to run great, though it will need a bit of love to be completely road ready (see below).
Recent repairs (last two years) include:
New front CV axel
New radiator coolant replacement
New headlights
New brakes fluid
5,000 interval rotations and oil changes.
I'm selling at lower than blue book fair market value for a car with these miles because some other maintenance is due. That includes:
Oil change due in June
Needs new tires and an alignment VERY soon. The current tires work fine for the short term, but an alignment issue has caused tread on the inside of the tire to wear down completely. Furthermore, right passenger side tire has a small nail in it causing a slow leak (am refilling once every three days)
One of the belts makes a loud noise for about three seconds upon ignition, but then it sounds fine.
Left side front blinker is acting sorta strange, blinking too fast and slightly dimmer than it should. I suspect it's a fuse issue.
Overall, I suspect that all of this maintenance will cost between $700-$1000. I would do it myself, but I'm leaving it up to the buyer to decide on that. I can negotiate a new price if the buyer wants me to take care of any of this maintenance (by taking it to a shop) before buying.
I've tried to take a picture of every ding and scratch on the outside of the car. The most major facial scratches are on the back of the car under the trunk lid. All other pictures of scratches are at the end of the photo catalog attached.
Headlight covers are kind of fogged, but some quick polishing would fix that.
Interior is doing pretty well, typical wearing with age and a couple of stains on the back floor carpet and driver side door (see pictures).
That's it. I've named off everything I know that you may not like about this car. I think it will be well worth your $2.1K, because it's been worth it for me.
ALSO INCLUDED:
A bike rack for sedans
A bluetooth-to-radio converter so you can pair your phone with the impressive audio system (this was a luxury car back in the day, but without bluetooth lol).
19 MPG combined according to the car, sunroof is nice.
Seeking $2,101 or any lower offer with a reasonable basis. Hablo español tambien!
