Location: Salem, UT

Up for sale is a rare 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Station Wagon. Rare enough that KSL doesn’t have Brookwood as an option to select that I had to go with Belair. This is a great candidate for a full restoration project or custom build. The car moves under its own power, but it is a project and will need to be trailered home.

Body & Interior:

• Body: Very straight with no major damage. Excellent grille, bumpers, and sold moldings.
• Rust: Typical project rust present (floorboards and quarter panels), but an incredibly solid canvas compares to most surviving wagons.
• Interior: Needs a full overhaul. The front bench seat is ripped/torn, tears in the floorboard, torn edges of the canvas along the headliner.

Mechanical:

• Engine: Original engine (Dash says 72k miles but the exact mileage is unknown).
• Setup: Currently running with aftermarket 305 heads, manifold, alternator, and carburetor.
• Known Mechanical Issues: Leaks oil and transmission fluid, needs steering column work, and some other minor things that need attention.
• Brakes & Tires: Needs completely new brakes and tires.
• Gauges: The speedometer functions but stops reading at a certain speed.

We are including a hoard of extra parts with the sale to help with the restoration (as seen in the photos of the back seat and cargo area:

• Original parts: Heads, air cleaner, carburetor, and alternator.
• Extras: Includes a 1975 Volvo roof rack and various other miscellaneous parts and pieces collected for the car over the years.
