2009 Mazda RX-8 for sale. The engine is new but currently doesn't run. I paid a shop for an engine rebuild a couple years ago, but they put something back together wrong and it hasn't started since. Talking with Kevin from rotaryresurrection.com, he said that most likely the shop cut the side seals to the wrong length for a Gen 2. The engine has brand new rotors and rotor housings and should be good for another 100k miles if the seals get fixed. For someone familiar with these engines, it sounds like it shouldn't be hard to tear the engine down again and fix that. I started disassembling it myself, but I don't have the experience or the free time to keep this as a project.
