TITLE IN HAND & PRICED TO SELL
2900$ OBO
I am selling an extremely clean, reliable, and luxury level trim Toyota Avalon that has had one owner the last 26 years.
I did some house work for the owner, and he let me buy the car from him because it was just sitting in his garage. I was going to use it for work but I decided to get a truck because it will fit my ladder. It was rear ended in 1998, then restored the same year and sold to him. NOT a salvage title, it is a restored title. It has run flawlessly over the years, and he told me he would regularly drive it down to California at 200K miles. These older Toyotas (especially the 6 cylinder) will last 350K miles easily if well maintained, and he has taken amazing care of it.
It was garage stored, the oil was regularly changed, and it includes tons of receipts of work he has had local shops do (the receipts add up to over 2500$ worth of work done, more details below on the water pump, power steering, new tires), as well as a vehicle owner auto record book where he recorded oil changes, gas fill ups, tire changes, etc. It has 279K miles and is in amazing mechanical and interior condition. Very well taken care of. If you are looking for an affordable car in really good condition, that is also completely mechanically sound, this is the one.
PROS:
Premium trim includes full leather seats, more powerful 6 cylinder engine (still gets a good 22-25 mpg on average per the vehicle manual), premium sound system, original disk changer in the trunk in great condition, wood trim, heated and power seats, sun roof, etc.
I’ve had it for a week and I couldn't find anything that was broken or didn't work on it
Only driven a handful of times the last 5 years (they got a different car and it has been sitting in his garage)
NO rust on the frame
Easily passes emissions
Tires have less than 8000 miles on them and are in great condition, warranty for 60,000 miles (receipts included). Tons of tread left.
Relatively new high quality battery (have receipts for when he bought it) that passes voltage and charge test, terminals and connectors were taken off and cleaned
The muffler and the rear strut assembly look like they were recently replaced
New K&N Air filter
Recently replaced serpentine belt (spare included)
A/C and Heat work, although they take a couple minutes.
All lights work and are in good condition, bulbs recently replaced with spares included.
Checked and topped off all the fluids (oil, steering, coolant)
Rotated all tires
Engine bay clean
Carpets removed and shampooed/deep cleaned
Interior is spotless and extremely clean
Just washed and waxed the car, it looks great
Locking Yakima roof rack with bike mount (400$ new)
Leather steering wheel cover
Sound system for cassette, CD, Radio, and ability to connect to a phone
CONS:
Paint is faded on the rear bumper
The driver side door does not unlock from the outside, to lock the car you simply lock the door and shut it, but next time you go to drive you’ve got to unlock it from the passenger side. A little annoying, but still able to lock/unlock and get in and out of the driver door and everything. More of a minor inconvenience. It is very likely the door actuator which is a cheap fix.
Buttons on the stereo work, but are fragile (the stereo is original and works great, just old)
INCLUDES:
Title
Car owner manual
3 car keys
Haynes Repair manual (50$ on amazon)
Full spare, factory jack, small flashlight
Original disk changer
K&N filter cleaner
Spare serpentine belt
2 Ice scrapers (large & small)
Variety of replacement bulbs and fuses
Yakima rack accessories/hardware
Phone charger adapter
2 sets (four blades) brand new windshield wipers
New climate control center piece (current one works as far as I know, owner said it could be buggy but it worked every time I used it)
3 different sun shades
All repairs were done by local trustworthy shops and include receipts and dates that the owner passed to me
Receipts for the new battery, new tires with warranty, recent alignment with tie rods replaced, car cover from JC auto, brand new power steering pump and valve cover gaskets, steering pump fluid, new engine temp sensor, new radiator hoses, power steering belt, (power steering and valve cover gaskets cost 900$), water pump and timing kit recently done (cost 660$ ).
You can message me, I'd prefer text or call however (9717071355). Feel free to ask any questions, or send an offer. Would possibly be open to a trade.
