For Sale: 2014 Audi A8 (D4) 3.0TFSI Quattro – 150,000 Miles – Rebuilt Title – Air Suspension Bose Sound
Selling my 2014 Audi A8 (standard wheelbase) with the smooth 3.0TFSI supercharged V6 (286 hp), quattro all-wheel drive, trouble-free factory air suspension, and Bose premium sound system. This flagship luxury sedan delivers a quiet, comfortable magic-carpet ride and effortless highway performance. I've invested significant time and money into proactive maintenance addressing the most common and expensive failure points on this engine and chassis:
German Performance Solutions billet aluminum thermostat housing new OEM water pump
Integrated Engineering catch can with full PCV relocation (includes aluminum valley pan instead of the failure-prone plastic factory one — prevents oil vapor issues and keeps the intake cleaner and won't crack and leak coolant into the engine)
Intercooler cores replaced 034 intercooler bleeder screws installed
Injectors resealed and tumble flaps serviced
Spark plugs replaced
Valve cover seals replaced (prevents common oil leaks)
New oil filter housing (extra oil filter included)
The engine runs strong, holds perfect temperature, shows no coolant or oil leaks, zero overheating, and stays clean. These supercharged 3.0T V6s are capable of 250k–300k miles when cared for like this. Oil consumption note: Before the PCV relocation it was consuming roughly a quart every 1,200 miles (typical for a failing PCV on these engines). After the full relocation catch can, it has improved noticeably. I've only put a few hundred miles on it since the work, so I don't have a precise new rate yet, but it's clearly using less oil.
Additional positives:
Sunroof
Air cooled/heated seats
Air suspension
Comes with a spare set of 20" Vertini wheels and tires (OE wheels currently have snow tires mounted)
Brass replacement gear for the MMI included (see below)
Honest disclosures:
Rebuilt title (priced accordingly due to history)
Cracked windshield that extends into the driver's line of view (affects visibility; should be replaced soon for safety)
MMI screen makes a clicking noise when raising/lowering (very common D4 plastic gear wear). I have a brass replacement gear ready to go — just haven't had time to install it yet.
