This reliable, one-family owned Toyota Avalon with luxury level trim was passed from grandmother (original owner) to her granddaughter.
Toyotas from this era that have the 6-cylinder engine have a reputation for longevity, and I believe this one has many reliable miles still to go.
The premium trim package includes:
3.0 liter, V6, four-cam, 24-valve, VVT-i, ECT-i engine
16” aluminum alloy wheels
Full-leather, heated seats
Power moonroof
The car comes with the complete owner’s manual set (plus the original “pocket owner’s manual” and window sticker) and all three original keys.
The car has 223K original miles, which averages out to only around 8900 miles driven per year over the car’s life.
The engine and interior are in good condition. The car is very comfortable and handles very well on the road. The air conditioning still puts out very cold air, and the car has a new battery and alternator. There is some rust around the rear driver-side fender and rear undercarriage.
The vehicle has a repaired/restored title due to damage to the two passenger-side doors five or six years ago. The insurance company felt that the repairs would cost more than the total value of the vehicle due to its age, but because of the car’s reliability and otherwise good condition, we elected to have it fixed. I’m happy to send photos taken on the day of the accident to show that it was not a big deal.
