Running and driving 1955 Ford Fairlane. This has been a fun car to own but I’m a Jeep guy not a vintage car guy.

This is a great running driving project car. You could take it either way - go rat rod or mount a full restoration with its solid condition.

Very solid body and frame with minimal rust. 272 Y block V-8 was rebuilt by previous owner and starts and runs well. Fordomatic 2 speed transmission. Trans is leaking but I have done zero investigation as to why.

Great seat covers, car is clean for its age.

All glass is there and is solid and free of cracks.

Tires are bias ply, have great tread but are cracked and old. All hold air and roll.

I have a lot of the chrome, not sure if it is all of it as I’ve never had it on it.

Car runs and drives but shouldn’t be considered a daily.

I’m open to offers but it’s priced to sell now.

The only trades I would consider would be for a running driving good working order Jeep, I’m good with Flat Fenders YJ, CJ, XJ, V8 ZJ.
