The car still runs, but without some work its days are numbered. Mechanics believe it has a bad head gasket due. As a result, it also has a misfire on cylinder three and some pressure on the coolant system. Recently replaced radiator and hoses, and we have been religiously consistent with oil changes and other maintenance. In full transparency, without repairing the head gasket the car could give up at any point, but is still going and might continue to do so for some time. Toyota Avalons from this era were built like tanks with motors engineered to withstand. We are moving in the Fall and were planning on selling it by August.
