2019 Subaru Crosstrek | 108,000 Miles | Branded Title | Fresh Dealer Service
We’re selling our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek to make room for a larger vehicle that fits our growing family, and we’re passing along a car that’s been thoroughly refreshed and ready to go. My wife bought it in 2021 with 33,000 miles on it and has used it as her daily commuter ever since.
If you know Subarus, you know the head gasket reputation. Here’s the good news: that’s already been taken care of. We recently had a full service done at a Subaru dealership by their factory-trained technicians, and when they got into it, the mechanic noted that whoever did the previous rebuild did an incredible job mechanically. You’re getting a car with the major known issues already behind it, not ahead of you.
What was just completed at the Subaru dealer:
• Head gaskets replaced
• Full engine reseal
• New CVT cooler installed
• New AC condenser
• Coolant system flushed
• Fresh oil change
• 4-wheel alignment
New set of tires back in November.
Front and Rear brakes replaced at 98,200 miles.
This is the work that Subaru owners dread having to deal with, and on this one, it’s done. You’re essentially getting a car with a refreshed engine and cooling system without paying dealership markup on top of the purchase price.
The majority of those 108,000 miles are highway miles. My wife used it as her daily commuter doing 50 miles round trip and it consistently pulled 30 MPG. Highway miles are a lot easier on a car than city driving, so these have been good ones.
Wanting to be upfront on cosmetics and a couple of known quirks. There are some exterior dings and paint flaws consistent with age and use — nothing beyond what you’d expect, and I’ve included plenty of photos so you can see exactly what you’re getting. The headliner has two small tears in it. The right-side sensors (blind spot/lane assist) occasionally turn off on their own — this has happened since we bought it and has never caused any drivability issues, we just never got around to having it looked at.
The branded title is due to a prior crash reported on Carfax, which is reflected in the price. The car has driven great for us over 75,000 miles without any issues related to it. Service records available from 2024 onward — happy to answer any questions.
