1991 Monster Miata with a roller/rocker 302 from a 1988 Fox Body Mustang. Chassis has 178,000mi, engine and trans have approx. 65,000mi. I am not the builder; I am the 3rd owner. About the only thing you can call a Miata is the body. Ford racing T-5 transmission with new clutch, Howe racing radiator, steel braided lines, custom half shafts with a Ford rear end, Mildly built engine w/Holley 650, new harmonic balancer, new water pump and alternator, lighter clutch and flywheel,Wilwood brakes. Dyno shows 240hp at wheels, thermal coated headers with shorty Flow Master side exit exhaust. Roka 16" wheels and new tires, new battery, new headlights. Parts for the conversion were from a 60,000 mi Fox body and new parts that didn't come with donor Fox Body. Roll bar and new heater core included with sale, not installed.

Pros-this is a quick sleeper, a 3/4 version of a Cobra with all the growl and not the insurance for a Cobra. Has original vinyl top and clear zip out rear window, power windows and original paint. Clean title and driven weekly, it's a covered garage. Attracts a lot of attention. I have also added accurate oil pressure and coolant gauges.

Cons-no heater, no A/C and no power steering, Oil pan seeps oil overnight when at rest, previous owner dented the pan by the drain plug, and the tranny also seeps fluid. The builder removed the A/C and power steering for better road feel. Driver's seat needs new bottom upholstery. I have the conversion manual and dyno paper; it is included with what I have replaced while I've owned it. I'm selling because at 72 my mind is telling me it's fun and my body says not anymore.
