2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS – $1,500

Selling my 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS with 161,536 miles. This has been a reliable daily driver and is a great affordable transportation option or a good starter/backup vehicle.

• Automatic transmission

• Clean title

The car still runs and drives well. Exterior and interior are in fair condition with some cosmetic wear and tear on the exterior consistent with its age. The brake pads will likely need to be replaced in the near future. Starts up with no issues or problems.

The check engine light is on due to an issue with the internal coolant thermostat/temperature sensor. This has not affected the way the car drives and has been the only reason for the check engine light during the years I've owned it.

The codes for the check engine light are:

• P0128 (The faulty internal coolant temperature sensor. A common issue with this year and model)
• P0442 (EVAP Small System Leak, but that’s due to the fact that the original gas cap is missing from the car and a replacement was installed. The computer often warns that the gas cap needs to be checked despite there being no issue with it)
