Please read carefully: 2001 Honda Civic LX. Clean title in hand. The Civic passed State Emissions test easily. We have the title and certificate in hand.
We paid professional mechanics about $1800 for the following repairs.
Pros:
Replaced the timing belt, replaced the water pump, replaced the timing belt tensioner, replaced the camshaft seals, replaced the crankshaft seals, resealed the oil pump, replaced the oil pan gasket, replaced the valve cover, replaced the lower timing belt cover, replaced the power steering pump O’rings, replaced the spark plugs, replaced the air filter, new synthetic oil and filter. The engine was cleaned, and there are no leaks. Air conditioner works well. The stereo works. The heater works. Power windows, and locks. Newer tires. New hubcaps.
Cons: Not sure if the odometer reads correctly, the cat light comes on intermittently. It still passed emissions, you can open the trunk with the key, but not the lever, there is a crack in the lower portion of the windshield. You can still see just fine.
We were given a Honda accord after we had started getting the civic fixed, so we no longer need the civic.
$1600 or best offer. It is reliable and gets great fuel economy.
