1966 Corvette Stingray, Nassau Blue / White Interior, Numbers Matching - "Survivor." Odometer: 60,533. Every part on this Stingray is matched to the VIN, date coded, and all gauges work (including the Block, Radiator, Holley Carburetor, Muncie M20 Transmission, etc.). I'm asking $79K. No scammers, No lookers & Serious Inquiries only. This Stingray will sell quickly so contact me if serious. FYI: I was the first person to see the car in Denver when the owner put it up for sale. He had about 10 others waiting in line to buy it if I didn't want it. I bought in within an hour of first seeing it.
I'm only selling this 66 Stingray because I'm retiring due to 2 recent back surgeries. I bought this Stingray in Denver 17 years ago from the 3rd owner. I have the original Owners Manual that has the "Protect-O-Plate" attached in the back with the Original Purchaser's name embossed on a thin metal plate (Protecto-O-Plate came from the Chevy Dealer in Paw Paw, Michigan). I also have all service records and work done on the car. I am the 4th owner as the Original Owner sold it to Owner #2 (his son), who sold it to Owner #3 in Denver, and I am Owner #4 who bought it from Owner 3 in 2009. Every time I drive this car, I have multiple people that stop and want to see the Stingray, buy the Vette, talk about the Stingray, etc. This Stingray runs great, sounds great, looks great, and WILL NOT disappoint. I have won several awards at the car shows in Colorado and Utah. The C2 Stingrays are hard to find, especially Numbers Matching Stingrays.
Repairs needed:
Specs (all original OEM parts):
327 / 300 HP, Small Block
Nassau Blue exterior, White Interior seats, Blue carpet and floor lining
Holley Carburetor - 4 Barrel, Original Distributor, Cap & Rotor
Four Wheel Disc - Vented, Brakes
Muncie M20 4 speed Transmission (3 speed was Standard)
Power Steering, Power Brakes
Positraction Rear Axle, 3.08 Ratio
Telescopic Steering Wheel
AM/FM Radio, Power Rear Antennae
All 4 Chrome Bumpers on each corner are original and straight.
All parts are original on this Stingray (except the Battery).
All Gauges work. The clock does run but it doesn't keep the correct time as the gears are wearing out. The clock can be rebuilt or repaired. I have the contact info to have that done if desired here locally in the SLC Metro area.
Contact me as noted below to discuss. If the listing is up, then it's still available. Thanks - Steve
